Standard Overhead V.M.S. Sign Supports – CT DOT
GM2 has designed a series of standard overhead V.M.S. sign support structures for the CT DOT in arm lengths of 65, 105 and 145 feet. The V.M.S. (or any conventional sign) can be located anywhere on the support arm. These supports are designed for complex loading scenarios, including wind loading from hurricane-force winds and fatigue loading from wind and truck-induced gusts. The foundation is can be used under any soil or rock condition and is designed to withstand collision impacts. GM2's standard supports are being installed all over Connecticut and help alleviate the need for site-specific, custom designs. |
