Standard Cantilever V.M.S. Sign Supports – CT DOT
GM2 has designed a series of standard cantiliver V.M.S. sign support structures for the CT DOT in arm lengths of 30, 40 and 50 feet. The V.M.S. can be located anywhere on the cantilever arm. These supports are designed for complex loading scenarios, including wind loading from hurricane-force winds and fatigue loading from wind and truck-induced gusts. The foundation is can be used under any soil or rock condition and is designed to withstand collision impacts. GM2's standard supports are being installed all over Connecticut and help alleviate the need for site-specific, custom designs. |
