Island Pond Road – Manchester, NH
Stage construction plans (MPT) and temporary signalized intersection.
Grand Avenue – New Haven, CT
Reconstruction of city road as part of the bridge replacement project.
Four traffic signals, two temporary signals and final pavement markings
and signing for this bridge replacement project.
I-84 over Skungamaug River – Tolland, CT
Rehabilitation of bridge in three stages. Designed stage construction plans
to maintain existing expressway traffic during construction.
I-84 – West Hartford, CT
Construction of an operation lane. GM2 is responsible for design and
preparation of plans for temporary and final signing and pavement markings
for this project.
I-84 – Southbury, CT
I-84 Intersection/Interchange Improvements. GM2 is responsible for traffic
signal design at Interchanges 14, 15 and 16.
Route 130 (Fairfield Avenue) – Bridgeport , CT
Reconstruction of Fairfield Avenue under the MNRR bridge. Roadway design included
the design of two traffic signals, development of the pavement marking and
signing plan, construction staging to maintain traffic, coordination with the
city, utilities and CDOT, and preparation of specifications and cost estimates.
In an urban environment, the traffic signals required controls for pedestrians,
emergency pre-emption, and exclusive left turns.
